ELDER, Judge.
John A. Waldrop (appellant) appeals his conviction of two counts of perjury for making a false statement in a campaign finance report. He contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion for a mistrial because the Commonwealth’s attorney during his opening statement commented on Waldrop’s Fifth Amendment right to remain silent.
