This is an appeal from the district court for Adams county. The facts important to the inquiry áre these: The order of Sisters of Visitation acquired by donation block 6 in Mumaw’s addition to the city of Hastings, and erected thereon an academy building, which they used exclusively for educational and religious purposes from the year 1890 to November, .1896, when they abandoned the property with the intention of never again using it for the purpose stated.
