Colly Cascen appeals his convictions in the Superior Court for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, third-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and unauthorized possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence. For the reasons *398that follow, we reverse Cascen’s convictions for third-degree assault and unauthorized possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence, but affirm the remaining convictions.
