This is a patent infringement suit in which Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Mer-rell Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Carderm Capital L.P. (collectively “Plaintiffs” or “Aventis”) have sued generic drug manufacturers, Barr Laboratories, Inc. (“Barr”), Impax Laboratories, Inc. (“Impax”), Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc.
