This is a patent infringement suit in which Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Aventis”), Merrell Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Carderm Capital, L.P. (collectively “Plaintiffs”) have sued generic drug manufacturers, Barr Laboratories, Inc. (“Barr”), Impax Laboratories, Inc. (“Impax”), Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. (“Teva”), My- lan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Mylan”), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ltd., and Dr. Red-dy’s Laboratories, Inc.
