Parker v. State

Supreme Court of Georgia

Decided December 3, 1986No. 43211PublishedCited by 35 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

Bell, Justice.

This is the second appearance of this death penalty case. Previously, we remanded the case to the trial court for further proceedings regarding the admissibility of Parker’s confession. In addition, we deferred consideration of some of the enumerations of error “until such time as the case may reappear before us.” Parker v. State, 255 Ga. 167, 169 (336 SE2d 242) (1985). The issues on the present appeal include the trial court’s ruling on voluntariness after remand and the issues raised previously but not dealt with.
