BOWMAN, Circuit Judge.

Joine Hose Maejia appeals from a judgment of conviction following a jury trial1 in which he was found guilty of one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1988), one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b) (1988), and one count of possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1) (1988).
