This is an action of trover for the conversion of an automobile. At the trial of the case in the superior court, at the conclusion of all the evidence, the defendant moved that the trial justice direct the jury to return a verdict in its favor. He denied this motion, and in charging the jury directed them to return a verdict for the plaintiff, but left to them for their decision the amount of damages to which the plaintiff was entitled.
