Justice EAKIN.

Paul David Crews appeals from the order denying his second petition for relief under the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA), 42 Pa.C.S. §§ 9541-9546. We affirm.

In 1990, appellant murdered two hikers on the Appalachian Trail in Perry County. A jury found appellant guilty of first degree murder and sentenced him to death in May, 1991. On direct appeal, this Court affirmed. See Commonwealth v. Crews (I), 536 Pa.508, 640 A.2d 395 (1994).
