This action was commenced in June, 1922, to recover $4,000 and,interest thereon at the legal rate from November 23, 1921, on account of a contract of insurance issued to the plaintiffs by the defendant for damages sustained by the plaintiffs by the destruction by fire of the insured property on November 23, 1921.
