OPINION OF THE COURT
BECKER, Chief Judge.
U.S.S.G. § 2Dl.l(b)(l) requires courts to increase a defendant’s offense level by two levels if a dangerous weapon was possessed by the defendant in the course of a drug trafficking offense. Note (3) of the Commentary to § 2Dl.l(b)(l) explains that this enhancement “reflects the increased danger of violence when drug traffickers possess weapons.” The Note specifies that the “adjustment should be applied if the weapon was present, unless it is clearly improbable that the weapon was connected with the offense.” This appeal by David Drozdowski, who was…
