PUDLOWSKI, Judge.
Plaintiff-appellant, Harold M. Kla-men, appeals a judgment for defendant-respondent, Genuine Parts Company, in a court tried breach of contract action. Genuine Parts cross appeals a $2500 judgment in quantum meruit awarded to plaintiff. On appeal, we must affirm the judgment of the trial court if it is supported by substantial evidence, is not against the weight of the evidence, and is not based upon an erroneous declaration or application of the law. Murphy v. Carron, 536 S.W.2d 30, 32 (Mo. banc 1976). We affirm.
