LEWIS, Circuit Judge.

Locomotive Engineers’ Mutual Life and Accident Insurance Association, an Ohio corporation, filed its bill of interpleader against Grace B. Chaffee and Wanda R. Chaffee in the court below. It alleged that it is a fraternal and beneficial association; that prior to November I, 1922, it issued three certificates of membership in the association to Orson A. Chaffee, each certificate providing for the payment of death benefits in the sum of $1,500.00 wherein Alice G.
