Action was brought upon the official bonds of defendant Carrie B. Lloyd, who was twice elected and served as treasurer of Beadle county for two terms (her first term 'beginning January I, 1923) ; her second term began January x, 1925. The New Amsterdam Casualty Company furnished surety in the sum of $100,000, the defendant Fidelity & Deposit Company $25,000, and the state bonding department of South Dakota for an additional sum of $25,000.
