The University of Maryland, College Park (“the University of Maryland”) and the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland (“the Board of Regents”) (collectively “Defendants”) appeal from an order denying their motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction pursuant to Rule 12(b)(2) of the North Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure.
