McGIVERIN, Chief Justice.
Defendant William S. Dible appeals from judgment and sentences, following a bench trial, entered upon his convictions of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, second-degree arson, and first-degree criminal mischief. He contends that there is insufficient evidence to support the first-degree burglary conviction under Iowa Code sections 713.1 and 713.3 (1993) and that his attorney rendered ineffective assistance in violation of his state and federal constitutional right to counsel as to all the charges.
