OPINION

FRIEDLANDER, Judge

Joseph Davidson and Phyllis Davidson appeal the trial court's award of attorney fees to Boone County. Thus, the sole restated issue on appeal is whether the trial court abused its discretion in awarding attorney fees.

We affirm.

The underlying dispute in this case began over a decade ago after the Davidsons purchased a two-family house in December 1988, in Rosston, Boone County, which they intended to use as rental property.
