MONROE, J.
Defendant prosecutes this appeal from a judgment condemning it to pay plaintiff $2,500, as damages for personal injuries received by him. Plaintiff has answered the appeal, praying for an increase in the award. Plaintiff, a negro boy, past 17 years of age, was employed by defendant to work about its mill; the principal work to which he was assigned being to assist in the unloading of shelled corn from box cars (standing upon a track which runs parallel with the south side of the mill) into a conveyor, consisting of a trough, 16x16 inches, covered with movable…
