Appellant, a registered sex offender, moved to a new residence but failed to notify authorities of his move as required by statute. The two-paragraph indictment alleged that appellant (1) failed to notify the Comal County Sheriffs Office seven days prior to changing his address; or (2) failed to provide the Sheriffs Office with proof of identity and residence within seven days after the move.
