This action is brought by the firm of Spitzer & Co., of Toledo, against the village of Blanchard, to recover the amount of certain bonds claimed to have been given on the purchase of a fire apparatus.
The defendant is a village organized in Isabella county under 'the general law for the organization of villages, being chapter 81 of Ho well’s Annotated Statutes. The first count in the declaration sets up that on October 9, 1885, one John T.
