The defendant Title Trust Company is a corporation engaged in the business of preparing, certifying, and selling abstracts of title. On or about June 8, 1910, the plaintiff, Bremerton Development Company, a corpora*269tion, was considering the purchase of real estate in the city of Seattle, subject to existing liens. An abstract of title, prepared and certified by the defendant, was delivered to plaintiff.
