On August 21, 1933, J. R. Keaton, hereinafter referred to as plaintiff, instituted this action in the district court of Oklahoma county against the city of Oklahoma City and Harrell-Davis Oil Company, hereinafter referred to as defendants, wherein plaintiff sofight to enjoin the defendant city from executing an oil and gas lease to the defendant company and from granting a permit to drill two wells in Riverside Park.
