MEMORANDUM

JOAN N. FEENEY, Bankruptcy Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

The matter before the court is the Complaint filed by Catherine Bauer (“Bauer” or the “Plaintiff’) through which she seeks an exception to the discharge of a certain debt owed by Marie Colokathis (“Colo- kathis” or the “Debtor”). 1 Prior to the commencement of the Debtor’s bankruptcy case on July 25, 2008, Bauer sued the Debtor for money damages in the Massachusetts Trial Court, Concord District Court. The parties settled that suit by filing an Agreement for Judgment in favor of Bauer in the amount of $12,000.00 in damages. The…
