JACKSON, Justice.
This original action for writ of mandamus presents a question of first impression in this state as to whether a trial court in a divorce proceeding has judicial power to order blood tests for a child whose paternity is questioned.
It arose out of a case- in which the wife sued the husband for divorce. The petition alleged, among other things, that the parties had been married since 1951 and that one child had been bora of the marriage.
