DALTON, Judge.
This cause comes to the writer on reassignment. It is an original proceeding in quo warranto instituted in this court when the Attorney General of Missouri filed his information against respondent, as Sheriff of Ray County, charging respondent with willful and malicious oppression, partiality, misconduct and abuse of authority in said office in specified respects; and alleging that by reason of such facts and conduct the respondent had forfeited his office and was unlawfully usurping and holding the same.
