RELEVANT FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY
During the 2010 crop year, Plaintiffs were in the business of raising burley tobacco in Macon County, Tennessee.2 Defendant is an insurance company and is an Approved Insurance Provider (“AIP”), meaning that Defendant issues Multiple Peril Crop Insurance Policies (“MPCI Policies”) to farmers, which are reinsured by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (“FCIC”).…
