SULLIVAN, Judge:

The accused was charged1 with wrongful possession of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) (2 specifications) and of marijuana, wrongful possession of LSD with intent to distribute, wrongful distribution of LSD, wrongful use of marijuana, absence without leave, and perjury (2 specifications), in violation of Articles 112a, 86, and 131, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 912a, 886, and 931, respectively.
