INTRODUCTION

The original plaintiffs, homeowners George and Laurie Blake,1 filed this wrongful foreclosure action against the defendants — mortgage holder, Nationstar Mortgage, and subsequent purchaser, Capital One — alleging that the defendants ' failed to strictly comply with the statutory notice and - sale requirements relating to non-judicial foreclosures such that the foreclosure sale of their property should be voided.
