This is an appeal by defendant from a conviction in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas for the offense of passing bad checks, under R.C. 2913.11.

The record indicates that at the beginning of the trial the parties stipulated that state’s exhibit 1, check No. 278, was written by defendant on the Columbus Municipal Employees Credit Union, dated and presented to Lazarus Department Store on December 24, 1980.
