This was a suit brought by appellee Shawnee Cotton Oil Company against the Texas & Pacific Bail-way Company, the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company and the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company of Texas, to recover damages alleged to have been sustained by a shipment of cattle made by the plaintiff over the lines of the defendant railways between latan, Texas, and Shawnee, Oklahoma, during the month of December, 1906.
