Dewey Bullock, as stated in the jury’s verdict, was found guilty of the crime of “violating securities law.” In the original complaint, Bullock together with one T. David French was complained of for “causing to be issued” 1,783 shares of preferred stock of the Middleville Power Corporation without the authorization necessary under the provisions of 2 Comp. Laws 1929, § 11077 (Stat. Ann. § 22.101), and in violation of 2 Comp. Laws 1929, §11079 (Stat. Ann. § 22.103). French pleaded guilty.
