Defendant was indicted on a variety of charges arising out of the stabbing death of an individual during a melee. A second indictment was then handed up which charged defendant with selling cocaine on three occasions while awaiting trial on the first indictment. In full satisfaction of both indictments, defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the second degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.
