COX, Judge:

Appellant was tried by general court-martial before a military judge alone for knowingly exposing a 17-year-old male to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). It was established at trial that HIV is the disease-causing, viral agent in the incurable, fatal illness called AIDS (Acquired Immunity Deficiency Syndrome).
