Plaintiffs are the owners of United States patent No. 1,408,113, granted February 28, 1922, to Richard C. Mason, one of the plaintiffs herein.
The device disclosed in the Mason patent in suit is for measuring wells. • It consists of a frame adapted to be mounted on the well casing, the frame having three measuring wheels or pulleys mounted vertically therein and connected to each other and to a revolution counter by a sprocket chain.
