— The defendant was charged by an amended information filed in San Joaquin County, with lascivious conduct, under section 288 of the Penal Code, toward a 12-year-old girl, and with two prior convictions of felonies and imprisonment therefor in the state prison of Oklahoma. On arraignment he pleaded not guilty to the chief offense, but admitted the prior felonies as charged. He was released on bail until the time of trial, but absconded.
