About 1897, William Becker, a widower and the father of five children, married Anna Buzek. At the time of the marriage she did not own any property, but he owned property worth $12,000.00 or $15,000.00. ■ In 1900, he made a will,,in which he gave to his wife a house and lot in the city of Louisville, worth about $1,000, and all of his household effects, which came into her possession after his death.
