Deferring to the parties as they appeared below, this is an appeal by the defendant, The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company from a judgment of $3,500.00 awarded the plaintiff, Estelle Lyle, as compensation for personal injuries received in a fall on a parking lot maintained by the defendant for the use of its customers.
