This is a petition for a writ of mandamus to require the respondent as Clerk of the City of Redding to countersign and execute municipal bonds in the sum of $200,-000, which were voted at an election and authorized by ordinance of the city for defraying the cost of a proposed sewage system. The respondent demurred to the petition on the ground that it fails to state facts sufficient to warrant the issuance of the writ.
