The plaintiff, Bessie M. Lewis, instituted this action 1 to vindicate her federal constitutional rights which she claims were violated by the defendants when they refused to renew her contract of employment on July 1, 1978 as Director of Residence Halls For Women (“Director”) at Delaware State College because she bore a child out of wedlock. 2 The matter is presently before the Court on plaintiffs motion for a preliminary injunction in which she seeks (1) to enjoin the defendants from filling the vacancy created by their failure to renew her contract, (2) to compel…
