Linda Jasperson was awarded $4,000.00 in actual damages in a service letter 1 suit she brought against Purolator Courier Corporation on the grounds that the letter did not state the true reason for her discharge. She now appeals the district court’s 2 refusal to submit the issue of punitive damages to the jury.
