JENKINS, J.

Appellant brought this suit to enjoin the tax collector of McLennan county from issuing poll tax receipts to women. He alleges that he is a duly qualified voter and taxpayer in McLennan county; that he is a member of the Democratic party in this state, and a candidate for the Legislature in the district composed of said county, at the Democratic primary to be held in July, 1920; that there are 5,000 female citizens of McLennan county not disqualified to vote, except by reason of their sex, who will obtain poll tdx receipts from appellee if he is not restrained…
