Brown v. Massachusetts Port Authority

This is an appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court dismissing the plaintiff’s petition for an adjudication of contempt against the Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority). For the reasons stated below we affirm the judgment.

On May 11, 1973, at approximately 4 p.m., the plaintiff was driving north on the Maurice J. Tobin Memorial Bridge when a steel wheel from an unidentified tractor-trailer truck crashed through the windshield of his automobile and seriously injured him.
