Michael R. Reynolds (“Defendant”) was charged by felony information with murder in the first degree in violation of Section 565.020, RSMo 1994, and armed criminal action in violation of Section 571.015, RSMo 1994. The information was later amended to charge Defendant as a prior offender pursuant to Sections 558.016, 557.036, and 558.019, RSMo 1994. A jury found Defendant guilty of both crimes.
