Darían Seibert (“Defendant”) was convicted, following a bench trial, of second degree murder, a violation of Section 565.020.1, 1 and first degree arson, a violation of Section 569.040.1, for his role in a fire that killed Donald Rector (“Victim”). He received concurrent sentences of life in prison and twenty-five years’ imprisonment. On appeal, Defendant alleges trial court error in proceeding to trial without a jury, and in allowing the State to introduce an inculpatory statement he made to police while in the hospital. We affirm.
