Perry Roscoe Brown was elected sheriff of Craves county at the November election in 1925 for a term of four years. On November 19, 1925, he made written applications to the Fdielity & Deposit Company of Maryland to become surety on his bond in the penal sum of $170,000 as collector of the county revenue, and also upon his bond in the penal sum of $80,000 as collector of the state revenue.
