This matter is before the court on appeal from a judgment of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas.

Plaintiff-appellant, Kenneth Amborski, was employed by Walker Ambulance Service as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician on August 24, 1986. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on that date, the Toledo Fire Department received a call requesting that rescue squad assistance be dispatched to 1407 Prospect Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.
