FOURNET, Justice.

Plaintiff instituted this suit for the recovery of his salary for the last four months of the year 1933, aggregating the sum of $300, alleging that he was employed by Mrs. Mary B. Crichton, individually, and as natural tutrix of her minor children, as an overseer of a large cottoij plantation owned by her and her children, for the year 1932, at a monthly salary of $75, and that at the expiration of the year, without the formality of a renewal of the contract, the plaintiff continued his services as an overseer during the year 1933 and was paid the same salary until the end of…
