Plaintiff claims a large amount and interest from defendant. It holds promissory notes of sums due.
Plaintiff is a commercial partnership. The defendant was one of the partners of O. St. Dizier & Co. St. Dizier died in July, 1907. Since that time the partnership has been dissolved, but business, for some time after his death, was carried on, intending thereby to liquidate its affairs and pay the debts.
