CARTER, Justice.

The appellant, Carol Ann Taylor, appeals from a judgment rendering her legally liable to repay a $16,000 loan from her parents. She defended against this claim by asserting that the loan had been forgiven as a gift. The district court rejected that contention on the ground that there was an absence of delivery necessary to render the alleged gift irrevocable. The court of appeals disagreed with that contention and found that a constructive delivery had occurred.
