Action in the district court for Yellow Medicine county to recover $114.78, balance alleged to be due upon the purchase price of certain merchandise and for money loaned. The substance of the pleadings is stated in the opinion. The ease was tried before Powers, J., and a jury which returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff for $133.83. And a special verdict that plaintiff loaned defendant $20. Prom the judgment entered pursuant to the verdict, defendant appealed.

Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the district court of the' county of Yellow Medicine. The complaint alleged a sale of goods by the plaintiff to the defendant at his request, of the reasonable value of $179.01, no part of which had been paid, except the sum of $88.23, and also the loan of $24 by plaintiff to the defendant. Answer admitted that at the times alleged in the complaint the plaintiff sold to the defendant goods of the value of $130.81, and no more, and that he had paid for them in full; other than this, the answer denied the allegations of the complaint.
